FATHER COLIN PARRISH<\/span>
\nPastor<\/p>\n

Father Parrish was born and raised in Seattle. He grew up in Ballard until the end of high school when his family moved to Stanwood\/Camano Island. Though not Catholic, he attended St. Catherine’s for K-8 and went on to attend O’Dea high school. After high school, he joined the Navy and served three deployments. During that time, he converted to Catholicism having encountered Jesus through the Navy Chaplain who was a Catholic priest. He is excited to come home and serve as Pastor for St. Alphonsus, St. Benedict and St. John the Evangelist.<\/p>\n

ANDREW KOCH, BM, MSM, DMA<\/span><\/span>

Andrew has served as the organist at St. Alphonsus since 2017 and director of music since 2020. He holds degrees from Furman University, the University of Notre Dame, and the University of Washington. In addition to his work as a liturgical musician St. Alphonsus, Andrew serves as director of music at Emmanuel Anglican, teaches piano with Cascade Piano Studio, and maintains a private organ studio. Andrew is also active as a performing organist, giving recitals across the country including in his native Baltimore, Cleveland, St. Louis, and Tacoma. An avid climber, cyclist, and mountaineer, when not teaching or making music, Andrew can typically be found on an adventure in the mountains of Washington.<\/p>\n

John Skaar<\/span>

John has been with us already for more than a year as a facilities assistant and is now our main facilities person. John has lived in Seattle for most of his life and has a lot of experience in many areas of construction and maintenance.<\/p>\n

NICK PADRNOS<\/span>

Nick Padrnos began his career in Catholic education as a 5th grade teacher on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Most recently he’s taught high school social studies and theology in Seattle. Nick obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, his Master of Education from the University of Notre Dame as part of the Alliance for Catholic Education program, and his Principal Certificate from Seattle University. As an educator, he views the world through the lens faith and reason and is passionate about helping students find God in all things. Outside of school, Nick enjoys flyfishing, rollerblading, podcasting, reading Lord of the Rings, <\/em>and hiking 14ers in his native Colorado.<\/p>\n

Lori Corcoro is a convert to Catholicism. She received all her sacraments at St. Alphonsus and she and her husband have been parishioners for almost 30 years. Having been a parishioner and school mom, she is excited to serve the parish family.<\/p>\n

Claire Shea comes to the St. Alphonsus community with a heart on fire for the Blessed Mother and her Son. She’s been active in ministry most of her life, and even met her husband on a youth ministry retreat as a teen. She has worked over the last 9 years as a birth and postpartum doula, empowering families during some of their\u00a0most vulnerable times. Originally from the north suburbs of Chicago, Claire has now lived in Seattle for 12 years and is a mom to 3 energetic and happy kids. A perfect Saturday would be going on a PNW adventure with her family, coming home to play Mario video games with her kids, eating Pho with her husband, and then listening to audiobooks while knitting, sewing and quilting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
