Preschool Programs for 3 to 5 Year Olds<\/h4>\n

In our preschool programs,<\/strong>\u00a0each child grows academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually at his or her own pace.<\/p>\n

We strive to develop a student who has a positive self-image, respects the rights of others, sees the wonders of God in the world around him or her, and is a self-learner.<\/p>\n

The program is enhanced by weekly lessons in music, physical education, religion, and library, and daily art activities.<\/p>\n

We accept children once they turn 3 and are potty trained.<\/p>\n

Montessori-based Preschool Half-day Program<\/h4>\n

Our half day preschool is open to 3 to 5 year old children. The program employs the Montessori method,a child-centered educational approach that celebrates and nurtures each child\u2019s intrinsic desire to learn.<\/p>\n

Full-Day Preschool Program<\/h4>\n

Full-day preschool option includes\u00a0our Montessori-based Half-day Preschool Program, supervised lunch, and our half-day Educational Exploratory Program.<\/p>\n

Three-day or Five-day Per Week Options<\/h4>\n

Choose a three-day (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) or five-day per week schedule. The Preschool program operates on the same calendar as St. Alphonsus Parish School.
\nMornings:\u00a0<\/strong>8:30-11:30 am
\nOptional: Supervised Lunch (11:30-12:30)
\nAfternoons:<\/strong>\u00a012:30-3:00 pm (2:15 pm dismissal on Wednesdays)
\nOptional: Supervised Lunch (11:30-12:30) and\/or\u00a0Extended Care<\/a>\u00a0(dismissal \u2013 6pm)<\/p>\n

Full-Day:\u00a0<\/strong>8:30-3:05 pm (2:15 dismissal on Wednesdays)
\nOptional:\u00a0Extended Care<\/a>\u00a0(dismissal \u2013 6pm)<\/p>\n

Staff<\/strong><\/p>\n

The program is organized under the leadership of four\u00a0teachers certified in Early Childhood Education with special training\u00a0in the Montessori method. The student to teacher ratio is 10:1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
