What is your educational background?
I earned a BA in Japanese with College Honors, along with minors in Dance and History, from the University of Washington. I also hold a JD and an LLM in Asian and Comparative Law from the University of Washington School of Law, as well as an MAT from Seattle Pacific University School of Education.
Did you study abroad?
Yes, my education was enriched by studies abroad in Japan, Italy, Chile, and Sweden.
What inspires you as an educator?
I am passionate about creating a vibrant community where students can be active, creative, and strong. I bring my diverse experience in certificated elementary teaching, law, and research science to help students thrive.
What are your hobbies and interests?
I love dance, outdoor exploration, and sports. Spending time in nature with my family is one of my favorite activities.
