<\/span>Marketing and Communications Intern - unpaid <\/div>
\n

St. Alphonsus School is a vibrant and welcoming Catholic school committed to providing quality education in a nurturing and inclusive environment. We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to join our team and support our mission of promoting academic excellence, faith development, and community engagement. The internship is unpaid but can be used for college course credit.<\/strong>\u00a0Candidates may qualify for\u00a0subsidized community housing<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on the campus of St. Alphonsus.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong>
\nAs a Marketing and Communications Intern at St. Alphonsus, you will play a vital role in advancing the school’s brand and mission through various marketing and communication initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing, public relations, and digital media within the context of a faith-based educational institution. You will work closely with our dedicated team to create engaging content, foster community relationships, and contribute to the growth and success of our school.<\/p>\n

Hours<\/strong>
\nRecommended 10-15 hours per week (can be more if candidate desires). We can be flexible with class schedules and other jobs.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong>
\n1. Content Creation:
\n– Develop and curate content for the school’s website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
\n– Write compelling articles, stories, and blog posts highlighting the achievements and activities of students, faculty, and the school community.
2. Social Media Management:
\n– Manage and schedule posts on the school’s social media accounts.
\n– Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and actively promote school events and initiatives.
3. Photography and Visual Content:
\n– Capture high-quality photos and videos of school events, sports, and activities for use in marketing materials.
\n– Edit and enhance visual content to maintain a consistent and appealing visual brand.
4. Email Marketing:
\n– Assist in creating and distributing email campaigns to inform parents, alumni, and supporters about school news, events, and updates.
5. Community Engagement:
\n– Foster relationships with parents, alumni, and community partners through various communication channels.
\n– Assist in organizing and promoting school events, open houses, and fundraisers.
6. Analytics and Reporting:
\n– Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
\n– Provide regular reports on key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations.<\/p>\n

Qualifications<\/strong>
\n– Currently enrolled in a college or university with a major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
\n– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n– Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
\n– Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
\n– A passion for education and an understanding of Catholic values is preferred but not required.<\/p>\n
