We are a small school with a big heart!<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

St. Alphonsus School is a community of students, parents, teachers, staff, and parishioners who work together for shared success. There are countless ways you can volunteer in the school, parish, and Ballard community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of our Fair Share<\/a> philosophy, families are encouraged to volunteer 30 hours each school year.<\/strong> Grandparents and extended family members are welcome to volunteer on behalf of the family, as long as Virtus Safe Environment training has been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virtus Safe Environment Training<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before volunteering, please confirm your Virtus profile and training requirements are complete. Follow the step-by-step instructions available here, Virtus Training and Compliance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create a VIRTUS account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In VIRTUS, complete Criminal Background Check \u2013 required every 3 years<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. In VIRTUS, complete Safe Environment Training \u2013 required every 3 years<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If you have volunteered in the past, please take time to log into your VIRTUS account and see if you are up-to-date with your Background Check & Safe Environment Training.<\/p>\n
