In the third grade we study the Native Americans of the Pacific Northwest. We learn new vocabulary terms to support our unit study and travel to the Burke Museum for a field trip to explore the First People of the Pacific Northwest exhibit. Students present a culminating research project on a tribe they select from the Pacific Northwest.
