Hello St. Al Families,<\/p>\n

I hope everyone had a wonderful week. \u00a0Since we do not have school on Monday, I am sending out my typical Monday email a bit early. \u00a0The following includes items that are a mix of group specific announcements\/events and general info for everyone.<\/p>\n

Announcements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Middle School Study Hall:<\/strong>\u00a0middle school students now have the option of staying inside during lunch recess for study hall. \u00a0It is a silent, independent, and voluntary option for those who want to work on homework or classwork. \u00a0Extra teacher support is not offered during this time, so homework center is still recommended for those who may need teacher assistance with their work. \u00a0Thank you to Mrs. Foisy for hosting this in her math room.<\/p>\n

Eighth Grade High School Applications:<\/strong>\u00a0It is about that time. \u00a0 Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need me to fill out an administrator recommendation form or you need a letter from the principal. \u00a0I am happy to work with all 8th<\/sup>\u00a0grade families however I can with this process.<\/p>\n

Auction Volunteer Hours:<\/strong>\u00a0 Remember to get your auction volunteer hours in. \u00a0Opportunities for hours begin this week on Wednesday evening. \u00a0 Additional opportunities include Thursday afternoon, all day Friday, and more. \u00a0Contact Lena Anderson for more information. Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to volunteer. \u00a0It takes a village to put on an event like this. \u00a0Our entire community benefits greatly from everyone\u2019s hard work and we are so thankful for the efforts of everyone involved.<\/p>\n

Monday, November 12:<\/strong>\u00a0No school in observance of Veteran\u2019s Day<\/p>\n

Tuesday, November 13:<\/strong>\u00a0Picture Retakes & Mass as Normal<\/p>\n

–picture forms are available in the office<\/p>\n

–we will follow our normal Tuesday schedule with mass<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, November 14:<\/strong>\u00a0Veteran\u2019s Day Assembly & Non-uniform Day<\/p>\n

–Students are allowed to wear red, white, and blue or military related clothing items for our November non-uniform day, celebrating our nation\u2019s veterans<\/p>\n

–At 1:45pm we will have a Veteran\u2019s Day assembly in the gym<\/p>\n

Thursday, November 15:\u00a0<\/strong>Earthquake Drill<\/p>\n

Saturday, November 17:<\/strong>\u00a0AUCTION!!!<\/p>\n
