A Special Message From Saint Martin de Porres Shelter<\/strong><\/p>\n

During National Catholic Schools Week, primary grades created Valentine\u2019s day cards which were delivered to\u00a0St Martin de Porres Shelter<\/a>\u00a0in downtown Seattle. The handcrafted notes were placed on individual sleeping mats of clients who would be staying the night.<\/p>\n

Saint Martin de Porres Shelter shared three photos of the cards on their Facebook page, with a message of appreciation. “Thank you, Saint Alphonsus Parish School Seattle, for the Valentine’s Day cards we received today! The men enjoyed reading the cards left on their mats this evening!”<\/p>\n

Our school also received a personal follow up note from the shelter, expressing gratitude for our student’s kind gesture. “All of us at St. Martin’s certainly appreciate the school’s support over the years!”<\/p>\n
