St. Alphonsus School hosts a fun and accessible after-school Spanish program for grades K-5. We partner with Jump on Languages, a highly regarded language acquisition program based in Seattle.
Registration
Families can join any amount of days they desire per week and will be billed a monthly tuition. The program runs from Sep 22 to Jun 11.

Cancellation Policy
Families can cancel services at any time. In order to avoid tuition payment for the following month, they must cancel before the 20th of the previous month. Spots can’t be held unless there is tuition payment for them. If a family cancels the month of December before the 20th of November, their spot will not be held for January. To cancel June, families must cancel by April 20th instead of May 20th.

- All instructors have completed background checks and Safe Environment training.
- In general, students will bring snacks from home to eat before class. On special occasions, we may do a cooking or food related activity.
Sample Agenda
- 20 min: Settling, snack, check in, and centers. Centers include activities like small arts and crafts or simple table games that teachers will use to introduce vocabulary.
- 20-25 min: Group meeting to explore vocabulary and present main activity.
- 30-40 min: Children participate in main activity. Examples: body part song and dance for beginners and complete phrases that describe a drawing using a word puzzle for advanced students.
- 10-15 min: Wrap up, clean up.

Jump on Languages (Hola Paola LLC) is a family-owned Seattle business dedicated to making Spanish fun and accessible for kids and adults. We offer preschool, before- and after-school programs focused on natural language acquisition through play, culture, and creativity. Our fluent teachers—many from Spanish-speaking countries—bring authentic experiences in art, music, movement, and more. In addition to our Phinney Ridge location, we partner with local schools and organizations to provide tailored programs. Current partners include Daniel Bagley, Whittier, Assumption-St. Bridget, St. Benedict, North Beach, and John Stanford International.
