MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Hello St. Al Family and Friends,

This week, my morning announcements have focused on joy.  I have been encouraging students to find joy in everyday experiences and in the comfort of God.  Looking outside today, it is easy to see gloom and dwell on the darkness in the world around us.  But, if we choose to find joy, we can find the hope we need to push through and find the light.  Sometimes we can’t do this alone and the support from God and our community is necessary to push through the darkness and into the light.

I asked the students to look around their neighborhoods when they were out for a walk, for little things that could bring them joy.  I also asked them to think of ways they could share the joy with others.  Choosing joy and sharing it with others is a great way to help bring light during a dark time.  How do you find joy and how do you love sharing it? Feel free to share your joy through our social media or by sending pictures and messages to [email protected].  Let’s share our St. Al joy and stay St. Al strong.

Blessings,
Kathleen Daspit
