If you want to serve as a volunteer working with kids and/or vulnerable adults (classroom aide, field trips, etc.) then you are required to take this training. This training is designed to teach participants how to recognize the signs of abuse, how to respond to suspected abuse and how to keep our ministries, programs and schools safe. We will be hosting a class after drop-off on Wednesday, September 19 at 8:45 am in the school cafeteria. Please register at virtus.org. Click First-Time Registrant to create a profile and follow the prompts to complete the other requirements of a background check and policies sign-off. One of the prompts is signing up for a class, and you can scroll down until you find ours (although you can take at another location if that is easier for you).
