As we all know, it’s that time of the year for colds, coughs, fevers, and flu. Many people travel – or double dip in the chips and dips – and germs just get around. Please remember our healthy habits:
- regular hand washing (20 seconds with soap and water – time enough for an Our Father or a Hail Mary and Glory Be Prayer!)
- get lots of rest
- drink lots of water
- eat nutritious foods.
Staying home when you are sick with a cough or cold helps prevent the spread of germs. If you have a fever or are vomiting, stay at home at least 24 hours after the symptoms have subsided. If a fever is particularly high and/or lasts more than 48 hours, contact your physician.
We wish you a happy and healthy holiday season!
