Tuition Assistance for the 2018-2019 School Year

Tuition assistance for Archdiocese of Seattle Catholic school applicants is available through The Fulcrum Foundation and through each individual Catholic school.

Fulcrum Foundation tuition assistance is determined by financial need.

St. Alphonsus Parish School Tuition Assistance

All families seeking assistance through the school must first complete the Fulcrum Foundation application. Upon submitting the application to Fulcrum by the January 5th, 2018 due date, families will automatically be considered to receive tuition assistance through St. Alphonsus Parish School.
Award Decision Letters Mailed:  Mid-March 2018

Financial Aid Guidelines

Students must register and be accepted at St. Alphonsus Parish School prior to applying for financial aid. All registration fees are non-refundable even if financial assistance is not granted.

Current students of St. Alphonsus will have priority for financial assistance, followed by St. Alphonsus Parish parishioners, and finally to new families at St. Alphonsus.

St. Alphonsus Parish School reserves the right to conduct further reviews of applicants including verification of parish involvement and the research of certain hardship cases to determine needs.

All information received will be treated confidentially and is used only to arrive at a fair determination of financial need.

Financial aid is granted on an annual basis and can be discontinued at any time if the family does not abide by the criteria detailed below. Any money granted is subject to the number of applicants and available funding. Not all applicants will be granted financial aid.

Other criteria considered in awarding financial assistance:

  • Parent support and school involvement
  • Financial need
  • Academic performance of student (maintain 2.0 average)
  • Christian character of student
  • Disciplinary history of student
  • St. Alphonsus family financial accounts are current, account history may be reviewed
