Holy loud voices, Batman! It is wonderful and astounding how the sound of children’s voices echoing through the building can be like the most beautiful of choirs. I am so happy to SEE the primary kids each week and, with the addition of 4th grade today, I am running around the building like a crazy lady and I LOVE IT! We’re still figuring some stuff out but your kids are masked wonders about it all.

Now that we have so many students in the building, I’m going to change how we do library pickups and returns. My last day to stay from 2:30-4 pm is TODAY, Thursday, February 11th. Beginning next week, there will be 3 options for picking up and/or returning books for middle school students.

  1. Students may pick up and return books at the school office during regular school hours, usually 8:30-3:30.
  2. Students may ask me to give checked-out books to a younger sibling who is coming to school in-person. Younger siblings may also return books for middle school siblings.
  3. If middle school students will be on campus for a special project or class, let me know and I will bring the books to you, as well as pick-up returned books.

These options should cover most families’ needs going forward to the end of the school year. As always, if you have concerns or questions you may either send me a chat on Teams or email me at [email protected]. Let’s keep reading great books!
