PreK – 1st Grade Family Play Date

Fun for the whole family!

March 9th was the final Saint Al’s Family Play Date for winter quarter. The idea to bring families together for fun and fellowship during Seattle’s dark and dreary months was developed by Season Evans, Mom of two Saint Al’s students. The events drew families large and small, as well as several future Angels. Thank you Season!

Do you have an event idea that would help build community and create connections?  Let us know, email [email protected].

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ANNUAL CRAB FEED

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS ANNUAL CRAB FEED

Happening: Saturday, March 23, 2019

The Knights of Columbus (Council 12889) is a fraternal organization that works closely with St. Alphonsus Parish providing funds and volunteering for various parish projects. They routinely donate funds for the school drama program and the school auction.  There are quite a few school fathers that are members of this great group!

Their fundraiser, the Crab Feed is being held Saturday, March 23, 2019.  Would you like to donate a dessert for their Dessert Dash?  We will need at least 25 desserts, it’s a quick way to volunteer!  Please contact Kristine Bulson with your dessert! [email protected]

Another way to support our community is to attend!  Tickets for the event are now on sale after weekend Mass.  If you’re a school family, please contact Maureen Endres for tickets.  [email protected]

Time to Spice Up BINGO!

 Time to Spice Up Bingo!

We’re looking to expand our usual menu and here’s how you can help:

Do you have a great chili recipe you would be willing to make for our Bingo kitchen to sell?

We plan to sell each serving bowl of chili for $1.

All you need to do is make a pot (at least 8 servings please) and let Maura Cannon know you’re bringing it in. All chili makers will earn 2 parent volunteer hours.

And please email Maura ([email protected]) in advance so our Bingo kitchen can plan accordingly. Thanks!
