UNIFORM EXCHANGE

Need a skirt, a pair of khakis, or a sweatshirt? You can find it in the St. Al’s Uniform Exchange for FREE!  That’s right, FREE!

Do you have clean uniforms that your kids have outgrown? Drop them off in the uniform exchange bin. Please note, uniform shirts are not part of the exchange.

St. Al’s Uniform Exchange is located in the Commons. Donations may be left at the front office.

BALANCE LETTERS

Balance Letters

“Where You’re At” balance letters went home on Monday, April 1st.  These letters let you know where you’re at with your fundraising and volunteer commitments for the year.

Haven’t entered your hours? Now is the time to update your volunteer hours online.  Instructions on how to input your hours is available HERE.  *Pro Tip – enter the information in batches. i.e. 9/1/2018 – 12/31/2018, Parents Club Meetings, 5 hours.

Ticket sales are particularly strong for the Opening Night and the Closing Night performances (we are halfway to sold out for both these shows).  So, don’t delay…buy your tickets today before it’s too late!  All of our performances this year are expected to sell out.

Creative Writing Club

Calling all 4-6th Graders who love to read and write! This after school club will give students the opportunity to let their imaginations wild on the page. The club will read, write, and workshop (talk about their writing in a constructive and supportive setting), culminating with a finished piece of writing.

The Club will meet Wednesdays starting April 17 – May 29 from 2:15 – 4 pm. Cost is $10/student, which covers snacks and materials (15 spots available.)

Parents’ Club General Meeting

Location: The CommonsPlease join us and an officer from the Seattle Police Department as we discuss how to best keep out kids safe in our changing city and world of internet and social media. Most importantly we need your input on how to make a few of our upcoming events huge successes:  Jog-a-Thon and May Madness Scrip Sales. We will have coffee and treats and attending Parent Club meetings count toward your volunteer hours.

St. Al’s Night at Lagunitas Brewery

St. Al’s Night at Lagunitas Brewery

Location: Laqunitas Brewery,1550 NW 49th St
Admission: $10 adults, $5 kids, or $30 a family

Enjoy a beer and the company of your St. Alphonsus family at the wonderful Lagunitas Brewery.  Lagunitas very generously will donate the proceeds from the beer sales that evening to St. Al’s!  This event is Family Friendly! Food provided, at no charge, by Parent’s Club – Salmon or Cheese Burger Sliders, Cheese Quesadillas, Caesar Salad, Snack, Soft Drinks.  Live Music by The Slags, Raffle, Outdoor Seating, and so much more!

CYO TRACK

CYO Track Update

Congratulations to the 7th Grade girls volleyball team!  They will have their first playoff match this Saturday at St. Francis.  Come on out and cheer them on!

Track Registration is still open!

  • Track:  4th – 8th grades
  • Practice: Monday, Wednesday, 6:30 – 8:00 PM
  • Optional Practice:  Fridays 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Where:  all at the Ingraham High School track.
  • Meets:  Saturdays, May 4, 11, 18, and June 1. Locations vary.

Order your Track T-Shirt!

All students who are participating in track this year need to order the track T-Shirt.   The on-line store is open now and will close April 14th so please put your order in right away.   There is also a track sweatshirt that is optional.  The track sweatshirt is only for track and cannot replace the school uniform sweatshirt.   Please click on the link below to order your track uniform.  The cost is $12.50 for the T-shirt.  Sweatshirts are optional and cost $23.00.
